Y34 Footballers shine
Sun 21 Apr 2024We were delighted for the Y34 team winning the East Sussex Albion Cup competition and getting through to the Sussex Finals!
The team headed off to Brighton and Hove Albion’s Elite Football Performance Centre in Lancing. In the Sussex Finals the team played some lovely football and scored plenty of goals as they got through to the quarter finals where they won 3-1 against Southwater and then had a tough semi-final against West Park where they lost to a last gasp goal. Whilst some of the players were upset not to make it to the final, they should all be proud of the way they played and making it to the best four teams in the Sussex-wide competition.
Congratulations to the team: Robin, Yaser, Joshua, Remy, Nico, Louie, George and Edwin.
